How to Know Your Correct Ring Size?

How to Know Your Correct Ring Size?
It’s not always easy to determine which ring size is right for you, so we’ve gathered a few simple methods to help you find the perfect fit.

International Ring Sizes
When you're buying a ring or using an international app, make sure to pay attention to the sizing system. The most commonly used sizing systems today are those of the US and the UK.
To make things easier for you, we’ve provided a size chart that compares Israeli sizes with international ones.

Measuring Your Ring Size with an App

One of the great advantages of living in a tech-driven world is that almost everything now has an app solution – including measuring your ring size! All you need to do is download a dedicated ring size app from your app store.
Once installed, simply place one of the rings you regularly wear and find comfortable on your phone screen. Adjust the ring to fit the circle that appears on the app, and that's it! The app will instantly tell you your exact ring size. It's a simple, easy process, and the results are highly accurate.

Measuring the Ring Using a Ruler

Take an existing ring that fits the finger you want to wear the new ring on, and measure its inner diameter using a ruler. This will help you determine the appropriate size from the size chart for your finger.
The measurement reflects the inner diameter of the ring. To find the right size for you, use a ruler to measure the inner diameter of a ring you own (only measure the inner part, without including the metal band).

Measuring Your Finger with a String

Step 1:
Wrap a piece of string around the desired finger. Make sure to wrap it around the thickest part of the finger, usually at the base.
Step 2:
Mark the point where the string meets and forms a circle, using a pencil, pen, or marker.
Step 3:
Next, remove the string from your finger, straighten it, and place it next to a ruler to measure its length in millimeters.

We recommend

Be sure to measure the exact finger for which the ring is intended, as ring sizes can differ between fingers and even between your left and right hands.

1. Measure your finger when it's warm, not cold

Fingers tend to shrink when they're cold, especially in winter, which can cause the ring size to feel off. It's best to measure your finger when you're comfortable—not too cold or too hot.

2. The width of the ring affects how it feels on your finger

If you're choosing a wider ring, you may want to opt for a larger size. Wider rings can feel tighter because of their broader surface area.

3. Avoid measuring after physical activity

After exercise, your fingers may swell, affecting the accuracy of your measurement. It's best to measure before or after intense physical activity.

4. Use a ring that already fits you as a reference

If you already have a ring that fits you perfectly, you can use it as a reference. Simply place it on a flat surface with a ruler and measure the inner diameter.

5. Avoid measuring with a tight string or paper strip

When measuring with a string or paper, make sure it's not too tight around your finger. It should be snug but not restrictive.

6. If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one

If you're unsure whether to go with a larger or smaller size, always choose the larger one. This will prevent the ring from being too tight and ensure it can be removed easily if needed.
